Only half-dead

Sorry I've been so out of touch...  I actually have a decent amount of stuff to talk about, but it's late and I've got to get up to pack tomorrow before driving back to BR.  I would just like to take this time, however, to say Happy New Year, and woot me on getting two grad apps in so far, with two more to follow in quick succession.  I have just finished my paper documents for Iowa, and shall mail them on the morrow en route to farewell lunch with the parents and provisioning of Texas foodstuffs.  I'll tell you all about NYE later.
