For Christmas, I want a new nasal and throat combo, because mine is shot, though I did manage to navigate the ersatz-criminal assignation process of purchasing a pseudoephedrine-containing medication (kudos to me). Oh, and an official Red Ryder carbine action two-hundred shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time (yeah, that's good).

It should be a good Christmas, if a long one -- we're making a round-trip to Fort Worth tomorrow (about a 3.5 hr trip each way) to see the Bierschenk clan, and then we'll do gift opening in the evening back here in Nac. And gifts shall there be. Also I have to continue shopping after Christmas.

last_renshai and I went shopping in the downtown square today, and I saw a number of interesting things at some of the antique shops (Christmas gifts to oneself are the best).

And I already had a merry Christmas meal this afternoon; Ika and I stopped by the taco shack and I had a tostada of carnitas and one of lengua. Mmm, real Mexican food. I have to start checking out the taquerías in Columbus to see if they compare. Hot DAMN the lengua was delicious. Mmm. Sorry, babbling. Midnight mass in an hour or so... gotta be ready -- better go :)
